About this role 

The Program Manager is responsible for managing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex programs that span multiple teams and functions for the benefit of the Global Platform Services team.

As a Program Manager, you will work with the Global Platform Services leadership team and stakeholders across the organization to define program objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines, and will be responsible for ensuring that the program is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will also be responsible for identifying and managing program risks and issues, and developing mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, analyze and plan for the different program areas and projects that compose a program. Understands the impact of the program and how it brings value to Global Platform Services.
  • Independently lead the initiation, planning, execution and reporting phases of Global Platform Services programs
  • Lead project workshops, status meetings and all other related activities ties to each project phase; share meeting minutes and follow up on action items. 
  • Accountable and responsible for a series of program deliverables with inter-related dependencies and proactively identify improvement initiatives related to program management standards and practices and participate in their rollout.
  • Coordinate a series of deliverables with inter-related dependencies in programs that support and drive department goals.
  • Identify sources of risks and challenges and provide support to resolve them when appropriate.

Requirements

  • 8 to 12 years of experience in project management and business analysis, including managing complex and multiple projects with cross-functional teams
  • Outstanding business acumen, and strong ability to work with various business functions (IT, Service, Operations, Product and Engineering)
  • Proven knowledge of project and program management methodologies and practices
  • Ability to work with project management tools (Gantt charts, Jira, Confluence)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence others and facilitate workshops and presentations coupled with strong leadership, organizational and time management skills.  

Quebec Language Clause 

This role demands for the individual to work on global projects and to assist, regularly, clients across Canada and the United States as well as with teams outside Québec; and therefore, requires that the incumbent is able to also speak/write in English.
